Class Summary-my break from school
Posted December 1st, 2008 by THEMIKEWhen planning ahead for college, i thought of many things, but i probably thought most about the difference in classes compared to high school. I imagined classes in college being more creative, allowing me to expand my mind and get away from the textbook.
My first three classes of college failed me in that aspect. Chemistry, Biology, and History. But when i went to forms of narrative, that all changed
This class has allowed me to implement my creative side in school. I mean what kind of class allows me to create a comic strip for an exam grade?

Perfect Simplicity
Posted November 18th, 2008 by THEMIKEWhile playing "colossal cave adventure," I had many different reactions. When i started playing, i wasn't a very happy camper... the game had no graphics or images, and no sound or viable plot. But, as i started playing the game, i started getting into the decisions i had to make, kind of like the abominable snowman. I could see the cave i was in. I could see the little gnomes chucking knives at me. That was happening in front of me and all around me because i got into this game that i dreaded at the beginning. Experience with Mashups...
Posted October 27th, 2008 by THEMIKEIn my time during high school, driving home late from a friendly get together, i would flip on the radio saturday night at 10 only to hear a certain radio program titled "Flounder's Mashups" on DC101. I thought it was funny when mashups were mentioned last class. This radio show would take two songs and just mash them together. The songs were rarely ever similar. Flounder (the DJ) would mash anything together. I can remember a Nine Inch Nails song mashed up with The Kinks.

The Reality of Nemo
Posted September 22nd, 2008 by THEMIKEMcKay's Little Nemo is possibly one of the most fantastical comics ever made. It has some of the most outrageous plot lines, completely unrealistic characters, and most of all the ability to do things that aren't possibly in the natural world. As I was reading the next section of Little Nemo, I came to a realization...and I assume most everybody else has realized this as well. But as I was reading I noticed that Nemo always experiences these unrealistic events, and he wakes up every time (except that one time). Have you ever had a dream where you have experienced something supernatural?

How do other gamers feel about passage?
Posted September 1st, 2008 by THEMIKEI have played the games several times and each time i become more depressed, but felt more and more enlightened somewhat...if that makes any sense at all
I was interested to see how other people played it, so i went on to youtube and watched a video on the game to investigate...
This is what I found, it is interesting to look at the commentary in the video. Did you think the same things when playing it or did you just want to win?
