This is really a crash course in HTML, and it includes details which you probably won't need. Still, I really like the "Try it Yourself" pages that let you experiment with tags in a basic sandbox page where you can immediately see the result.

Pay particular attention to the sections on Links, Images, Tables, and Backgrounds.

We'll go over more of this and put it to use on Wednesday.
