Is Garfield imaginary?

I would recommend checking out Garfield Minus Garfield. It adds a couple of levels to the Garfield we've all come to know, precisely by removing him from the comics and letting Jon stand on his own (as best he can, at any rate). I find it to be a welcome change of pace. This one is my favorite so far.
